Rollmops can be a healthy option when consumed in moderation. They are a good source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids from the herring, which can be beneficial for heart health. However, they are also high in sodium due to the pickling process, so individuals with high blood pressure or heart conditions should consume them in moderation. Additionally, the pickling process can also reduce some of the nutritional value of the fish. Overall, while rollmops can be a part of a healthy diet, it's important to be mindful of portion sizes and overall sodium intake. **

The shelf life of rollmops can vary depending on how they are stored. If kept refrigerated at the proper temperature (below 40°F or 4°C), rollmops can typically last for 2-3 weeks. However, if they are stored in airtight containers or vacuum-sealed, their shelf life can be extended to 3-6 months. It's important to always check the expiration date on the packaging and follow any specific storage instructions provided by the manufacturer. **
