It depends on the individual circumstances and the nature of the relationship between the parent and the ex. In some cases, a parent may choose to maintain a friendly relationship with their child's ex-partner in order to support their child's well-being and maintain a positive co-parenting relationship. However, in other cases, a parent may choose to distance themselves from the ex in order to avoid potential conflicts or discomfort. Ultimately, the decision to be friends with the ex is a personal one and should be made based on what is best for all parties involved. **

Additionally, it's a good idea to carry a copy of the child's birth certificate and the parent's identification, and to inform the airline or travel agency in advance to avoid any issues during the trip. **
